cameron albee, ms, addc
Cameron (he/him) is a top-of-his-class graduate of Purdue University Global’s Master of Science in Psychology program, specializing in substance use, process, and behavioral addictions. He is passionate about helping people get to the root of psychological concerns with his trauma-focused, empathetic approach. Using specialized techniques such as cognitive processing therapy and brainspotting, he explores historical and acute traumas and how they impact neuropsychological wellbeing and quality of functioning. He understands how addictive patterns can take hold of a person’s life and he uses a whole-person, biopsychosocial perspective to guide clients toward meaningful, lasting recovery.
Cameron also specializes in eating disorders and disordered eating, and has supported individuals across the spectrum of care from acute inpatient settings to outpatient therapy. He feels a deep connection to those working to reclaim peace with food, body image, and self-acceptance. He is committed to walking alongside clients as they rediscover balance and joy through a recovery-focused framework.
Sessions with Cameron include support from his Golden Retriever, Finn, and his Calico cat, Josie. A strong advocate for animal-assisted therapy, he welcomes and encourages the healing presence of pets during virtual sessions, as well.
Cameron is currently involved in an additional group practice and pursuing independent multi-licensure under the supervision of Catherine Ocasio and Laura Brassie.

Each client possesses a unique set of strengths that informs my approach to treatment. Thus, I spend a great deal of time getting to know you and your story, as well as what has been helpful in your therapeutic journey along the way (and what hasn’t). We will work together to create a plan for what you hope to achieve in therapy and how we’ll get there.
I meet clients with a deep sense of compassion and empathy, but also take a no-nonsense approach to ensure that you’re ready for the hard work that change and recovery require. I work from a psychodynamic, trauma-informed approach to gather insight into the historical and unconscious patterns that led you to this place in time, and form our sessions around how we can work together to make lasting progress.
